Beginning Sunday July 6th and running through the end of September, St Peter’s will join
congregations across Canada in CLWR’s Friends of Creation campaign. Together we will
learn about the crisis facing Lake Chad. In our lifetimes Lake Chad has shrunk by 90%,
turning once-fertile fields to dust, but through CLWR's Friend's of Creation campaign we
can help turn that story around! Thanks to matching funds from the Government of
Canada, just $50 rescues an acre of farmland around Lake Chad, giving families seeds,
water and training to thrive again. As a congregation, we have set a goal of preserving 20
acres and hope you will join us in achieving that goal. Donations to the project can be
made through our online fundraising page at clwr.org/splccambridge. Thank you for
joining us in answering God’s call to be friends of creation!

CLWR partners are urgently responding to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where over 2 million people have been displaced, and at least 45,000 have been killed. The current ceasefire offers a rare opportunity to reach those in desperate need, but time is critical.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, our partners are already on the ground providing aid. Your continued support will help:

 Repair water and sanitation systems to prevent disease.
 Provide emergency cash assistance for food and basic needs.
 Deliver medical supplies and evacuate injured patients.
 Distribute essential items like food parcels, blankets, and hygiene kits.

Your gift will bring life-saving aid to families in urgent need. Will you help during this
window of hope? Contributions to our ongoing appeal can be made at clwr.org or via your offering designating it as CLWR - Gaza
